“Business skills, when well applied, can do more than just make money. They can potentially make money and do some real good, which is immensely satisfying. To do that, it’s important to think outside the box, take risks and be an entrepreneur.  A little bit of good can turn into a whole lot of good when fueled by a social entrepreneur."
- Jeffrey SKOLL, engineer and co-founder eBay
"Social entrepreneurship means many things, and those diagnosed do many things. Here are some of the classic symptoms of the disease. A refusal to accept the world the way it is and the direction is which we're going. An unwillingness to say, no, this can't be done. PERSISTENCE. A certain amount of righteous anger about the injustices done unto others. A willingness to fight back against unjust systems. And also HOPE. We all have alarmingly high serum levels of hope."
- Dr Paul FARMER, To Repair the World

THE CONVERSATION, c'est quoi? C'est une opportunité d'échange linguistique et culturel entre un nombre égal d'étudiants de l'INSA et d'étudiants en échange. Les étudiants s'entraident en parlant français et anglais et en partageant leurs connaissances.

What is THE CONVERSATION ? It's an opportunity for linguistic and cultural exchange between equal numbers of INSA students and exchange students. Students help each other learn by speaking both French and English and sharing knowledge.

Engineers are creative types. They are responsible for dreaming up and building systems that companies will implement or sell, with the goal of improving the bottom line. Because their roles require team building and leadership, engineers must be able to clearly communicate complex ideas and technical project plans. They also need to be strong persuaders to see their designs come to confront safety issues. Building consensus is a giant step toward delivering a project on time, safely and according to specifications.
